Introduction to ups and downs of crypto

You are probably a Publish0x user that has at least some interest in cryptocurrency trading if you are here reading my 10th article I wrote this year. This is a light-hearted and mostly off-the cuff post written in my underwear before even having my first cup of coffee, so take it serious at your own choosing or peril.

Firstly

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency trading is a journey that’s both exhilarating and ocassionally terrifying. Don’t worry too much as I try to explain and guide you through the ups and downs of trading digital assets. Experienced professional traders can can scoff and take this entertainment as serious as they like. When I mention cryptocurrency trading, I refer to Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies in general.

Secondly

The lingo and crappy crypto memes evident on Publish0x and other publishing sites were always a bit wierd for me. Terms like “hodl,” “FUD,” “moon,” and “lambo” thrown around in the crypto community always made me cringe. If you’re wondering what these mean, well, you’re not alone. Much of my friends and family really really don’t know. Just nod your head and pretend like you do. In addition to that, I never even used dumb aconyms like ‘LOL’ in my writing or comments ever, or least not unsarcastically.

Thirdly

Let’s get down to the nuts and bolts of trading. The most important thing to remember is to buy low and sell high. It sounds easy, but it’s actually quite excruciatingly difficult. You may often find yourself buying high and selling low, and wondering where you went wrong. Don’t fret, that’s just part of the learning process. I personally try not to trade while highly emotional or after drinking two large bottles of vodka.

An important thing to remember is to always do your research before investing in any cryptocurrency. Don’t just blindly follow the hype and jump on the bandwagon. Take the time to read up on the project, its team, and its potential for expansion. And if you’re still confused, just go with your gut. After all, your gut has been right before, right? Hello?

The Ride

Now, let’s talk about the emotional rollercoaster that is crypto trading but nothing compared to the horror show I experienced with binary-pairs and other trading at eToro some years ago. Crypto trading will cause you to experience a wide range of emotions, from euphoria to despair, from hope to fear, and everything in between. The crypto trading process can be like a game of whack-a-mole, where you’re constantly trying to predict the market and make the right moves. And just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, you may invest a significant portion of your funds into a CEX like FTX or Cellsius which you thought must sound hot or something. Or was that Centigrade?

My history with trading

I dabbled in binary-pairs long before getting involved with cryptocurrecy trading and am still alive to talk about it. For me, eToro removed years from my life, even though I came out on top. The stress was unbearable so I eventually packed it in when I was ahead of the game. Cryptotrading is much easier on the nerves except in the case of excessive leverage trading where you can end up losing your car and boat.

Thrills and chills

But yeah, that’s what makes trading crypto so exciting, right? The thrill of the chase, the adrenaline rush of making a big trade, the rush of checking your portfolio and seeing green numbers. And if all else fails, just remember: there’s always the chance that your investment will go to the Ganymede moon of Jupiter, and you’ll be able to buy that Lambo you’ve always drooled over.

Conclusion

Trading cryptocurrency is like riding a rollercoaster, except you’re blindfolded, and the ride never ends. It’s a loony, unpredictable world, but it’s also full of potential rewards. So fasten the seatbelt on your non-Lambo car, hold on tight, and try enjoying the ride. Who knows, maybe you’ll become the next crypto thousandaire like me.
