Rednaxela poetry to music
Rednaxela poetry to music begins over ten years ago in Sweden just shortly after I relocated from Vancouver, Canada.
In 2015, I wrote a series of poems about a dragon named Rednaxela — a name formed by reversing my own. At the time, they existed only as text, written privately and without any intention of becoming music.
For years, the poems remained untouched.
Recently, modern music tools made it possible to hear those words rather than rewrite them. The lyrics were preserved exactly as they were written. What changed was the medium: sound, atmosphere, pacing, and silence.
The result became a trilogy of songs:
Together, they form a complete arc — not just of a character, but of time, reflection, and transformation.
These songs are not about novelty or technology, but about about letting old words find the form they were always meant to inhabit.
My growing discography is only available on the Bandcamp site will continue to grow and likely contain albums for Rednaxela Saga and future Zarr Chronicles. Upcoming Zarr trilogy is a sci-fi based fantasy epic on a sad android. Zarr Chronicles will be as emotionally dark as the Rednaxela saga but on an entirely different level, and more sci-fi based.
